lyrics

It’s my home away from home
Where I never feel alone
It’s the only place I see your smiling face
It’s my home away from home

If you like good music
I can tell you where to go
The Philadelphia Folk Fest
Is the best place that I know

It’s our brigadoon here
And it only lasts so long
So while we’re here together
Why don’t you sing us a song?

We go every summer
with our entire family
If you’re going to be there too
Won’t you come and visit me? (cacaw!)

If you don’t know how to play
Well, you can always sing along
But if you know how to play a chord or three (or four)
Won’t help us play this song?
